Blogging as a Spiritual Discipline Once Again

Yes, it is that time of year again.

How many years have I been doing this?

It seems that I always start every October with a list of a few things I have been thinking about and/or experiencing. By the time I am in the second week, I have run out of things to say. Therefore, I will mention once again that I am open to any suggestions or observations that a elderly pagan may ponder upon. Thank you.

I do mean elderly, too. I am beginning to feel the creakiness on almost a daily basis. While I am the first one to admit that I am not advanced creaky, as my 96 year old mother is, still the thought of jumping up and running around in the morning has become less and less appealing. Even coffee fueled energy has lost its charm and effectiveness. Mornings should flow. By the time I have finished feeding 5 cats and myself, it is almost noon. That’s when I am able to venture forth on errands, Dr.’s appointments, and other fun stuff such as that. That is why I actually publish these posts after midnight EST. That is the end of my day.

The big news of the year is that High Feline Priestess Shadow walked up the golden stairs to Bast last January. She was a good kitty feral though she was, and left me gifts in the form of kittens. Her kittens are now senior cats and reside in two different states. One lives with me and I visit the other two as often as I can. I see her occasionally. More on that later.

And so, my friends, it is time to stop for the evening. Sweet dreams to you all and Blessed Be.

  1. Yay! October!

  2. By the way I have your posts going back to 2013. So that’s how long. Unless I didn’t get notifications before then.

  3. I love your posts. I would like to see more of your observations on opening to our individual spiritual paths. I am inspired to rediscover my old blog and start creating again.
